  Stayed here during a trip to the area, the cabin and staff were wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I'm coming back in April during my next trip to the area.

• Review of "Lucky Dog Resort - Canoe, Kayak & Cabin Rentals" at Broken Bow

  If you are a thrill seeker who is looking for a near death experience riding in a crowded old ice cream truck 70 mph (sitting on a dirty floor) down a dirt road on the way to your muddy departure point, this is your destination. The river float was actually nice (besides the group of wasted tubers spewing profanities). The ride back was even more harrowing holding on to old seat belts tied together sitting on coolers bouncing down a dirt road past a stinking chicken plant. The brakes of the ancient retirement home vehicle were grinding and the best part was when we got back the driver said "This think really freaks me out." I felt so sorry for the young family of 6 crowded on the floor scared to death. Oh, did I mention the guys who came to pick up the tubes stepped out of their truck with open beers and staggered a bit? I like an edgy experience, but this was ridiculous. This business needs to be shut down before they kill people in the junky old vehicles they use to shuttle customers down rough dirt roads at high speed. Good luck.

• Review of "Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins" at Broken Bow

  We had the best time at The Bison Bluff cabin. It was build and decorated beautifully! Clean from top to bottom and had everything we needed! I called Friday looking for a one night stay for Saturday that was also pet friendly. Long shot, yes! The lady I spoke with was so friendly, said she would make some calls to see if she could get us in and would call back. I had a return call from her in less that 5 minutes and had everything booked within 10 minutes. When we arrived, it was pitch dark but they had warmed the hot tub and turned on the lights inside for us. We were in awe of how beautiful everything was. Cabins were nicely spaced out as well. It was homey and the copper tub was a huge hit! My one and only recommendation would be adding check in and out times on the reservation email. The times were not mentioned, so I called ahead to confirm check in time which was a litter later than expected. We reviewed the info brochure when we arrived that gave us check out time which was earlier than expected. I called again to the desk and asked for a later check out, they were very nice and approved 2 hours past normal time which was a great help. We will absolutely be back and many of our friends are asking for details! Highly recommend Blue Beaver Cabins and staying in the Bison Bluff Cabin will not disappoint! The perfect getaway and minutes from an awesome Brewery which I highly recommend stopping by for some great pizza and beer during your stay. (Photos taken on way out of cabin)

  By far the best cabins in Beavers Bend!! Tony and the rest of the staff are awesome. Super easy reservations, arrived and everything was ready - all we did was show up and enjoy. Absolutely no hassle. Have been there 4 times - planning on returning again soon.
